Manchego Cheese Pasties

Pasties usually like everybody since, as they can be stuffed with almost every product, it is easy to find a combination that pleases us.

This way, inside a pasty we can find chicken, pork, vegetables, tuna, egg, tomato, etc. differently combined or we can even taste delicious sweet pasties such as those with cream or jam.

Take notes of these pasties with Manchego cheese recipe for 6 people which will leave your guests with their mouth open.


  • For the dough:

– 1 kg of flour

– 1 packet of yeast

– 1 egg yolk

– Salt

  • For the stuffing:

– 250 g of Manchego Cheese Novelista

– 250 g of bacon

– 50 g of walnuts

– 25 ml of milk


  • For the dough:

– Heat oil in a big pan. Once it is warm, remove it from fire and add 750 g of flour, two teaspoons of yeast and a teaspoon of salt.

– Once it is well mixed, add water and mix it again until getting a chewing gum-like texture.

– Then, add the egg yolk and mix it well one more time.

– Ideally, you should leave the dough rest for the whole night, but if you don’t have too much time, make sure that it does it for at least 1 hour.

– Once the dough has rested enough, we will proceed to amass it. For that, we will spread flour over a big surface and amass it until it doesn’t stick. With the help of a wide glass, we will shape the pasties.

  • For the stuffing:

– In a pan, add Manchego Cheese Novelista and milk and heat it until melting. Stir it until getting an homogenous paste

– Add bacon and chopped walnuts to the previous mixture and stir it again.               

– Finally, fill the pasties in, fry them and…ready to taste!
